Christmas Tree Festival 24 November – 4 December 2016
The Collegiate Church of St Mary’s in Warwick is the beautiful setting for the annual Christmas Tree Festival that opens on Warwick Town Victorian evening, Thursday 24 November and continues until Sunday 4 December 2016. Visitors can vote for their favourite Christmas tree and be entered in the prize draw. Admission on Victorian evening is 50p per adult and for the remainder of the festival it is £1.00 per adult. Children are Free. There will be Entertainment to include a variety of music, including the ever popular Hand Bell ringing demonstration & mulled wine & mince pies. Craft stalls and the St Mary’s gift shop will help with those Christmas presents. The evening will be rounded off with a short carol service at 8.45 pm.
Local school choirs sing Christmas songs on Friday morning 25 November in a free concert with a retiring collection, when doors open at 10 am, come along and hear the children from Westgate, Ridgeway and Emscote Infants/All Saints Junior Schools sing and visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee from the Pop Up Café.
The Pop Up Café will be serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes on Friday and Saturday of both weekends from 10 am – 4 pm. St Mary’s invites you to have tea and cake with the Mayor, Christine Cross, at 11am on Saturday 26th November, as she pays a visit to the annual Christmas Tree Festival. ‘Da Capo’ an a cappella chamber choir will be singing at 11 am and 1.00pm filling the church with their beautiful sound.

Santa will be visiting the Christmas Tree Festival at 10.30am on Saturday 3 December – he has heard that it is going to be especially beautiful this year. Why not come along and join him as he looks at the beautiful trees and stops off at the pop-up café for a lovely slice of cake, before continuing his long journey towards Christmas?
‘Sing It Loud’ an award winning community choir from Leamington Spa will be performing at 7.00 pm on Saturday 3 December, the concert is in aid of Parkinson’s disease. There will be lunchtime recitals from 12.30 – 2 pm on Friday 25 November and Friday 2 December – come along and listen to the talented musicians from King’s High School for Girls and Warwick School.
All the trees are individually decorated by the community and local businesses and
